How to use this worksheet
Compare an existing job with a proposed change, or two offers. Use each offer’s actual currency and pay period. Annualisation uses your paid weeks and hours; it is a comparison assumption, not a promise about salary or contract effect.
Worked example
Example: offer A guarantees 52,000 for 40 hours × 52 paid weeks. Offer B guarantees 55,000 for 45 hours × 52 weeks, with a possible 5,000 bonus. The guarantee rises 3,000, while hourly equivalents are 25 and about 23.50. The possible bonus remains separate; commuting cost is not a tax deduction or net pay calculation.
What to do next
Confirm written status, checks, start date, location, benefits and restrictions before an irreversible decision. Blank costs or bonus figures remain unknown. Different currencies stop amount ranking. The result has no overall score and does not recommend resigning.
