About us
What we do
WorkRightsMap is an independent information project for people looking for work and people employed, from applications and interviews to joining, workplace changes, leaving and life afterward. Published guides are grouped by the countries with reviewed content available. Our tools support the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and mainland China.
How we prepare guides
We monitor approved official sources and check authenticity, jurisdiction, timing and legal force through two independent AI reviews. Only material that passes our publication checks appears in the public collection. Unavailable sources and material awaiting review are withdrawn. English and Chinese summaries are our reading guides, not official translations.
Practical guides and tools
Our practical guides cover seven stages of working life through ten guides. We also curate six official employment cases with facts, outcomes and limits. Settlements, tribunal decisions and institutional typical-case reports are labelled separately. Public user discussions help us identify information gaps; legal routes are checked against official sources. These preparation guides and curated historical cases are edited and source-checked separately from the automated monitored summaries; they do not receive the pipeline’s AI score. Paycheck comparisons and work logs organise your own figures and facts, without evaluating a case or sending inputs to AI.
Using the information
We are not a government agency or a law firm. Guides help you find the relevant official source; they do not replace advice about your individual circumstances. Tools show their assumptions and coverage, and their formulas are not changed automatically by AI.
